Description
I lost my head (and heart) for Crispin Hellion Glover. Officially, he is an artist, one of a kind - an actor, a director, an author. Unique and eccentric.
Who is he for real? A demon, a wizard, a supernatural being, the devil himself? It would be nice to think so.
And the last but not least, he's a deliciously attractive man. In spite of the usual "creepy", I find him totally sexy.
Not to mention that I'd love to meet him ^^
But, to the point. The first time I've noticed him was a few years ago, in 'Willard'. At the time I was about to study for some boring exam, but then there was this interesting, dark movie on TV, with a mysteriously looking, young man, so eventually I decided to watch, even if I was to resit the exam (which in fact I did ). Crispin made quite an impression on me, but sadly, I later forgot him for a while.
My obsession officially began after watching the not-so-perfect 'Alice in Wonderland' movie by Tim Burton, with Crispin as the OMG-so-damn-hot Knave of Hearts. And now I'm completely crazy for him.
Only recently I was a bit shocked to find out that he was Grendel in the last 'Beowulf' movie (I hated the film, but the monster was awesome, even better than the one I imagined while reading the original). It turned out that I saw him in many pictures, but didn't realize that it was actually him. ^^ So now I'm re-watching some of the movies with pleasure.
As for the drawing - it took many hours (or rather, many nights). I did my best to draw him as good looking as he really is, though I'm not sure if I succeeded. ^^ This is only my first try on him without the Stayne-ish look though.
I was working on the portrait while listening to Crispin's freaky album (and Tori Amos ).
HB, 4B, 5B, 6B,7B and 8B penclis on paper.
