Finally ! I have finished the long expected drawing!
It's been quite a while since I last did a portrait of the one and only Sir Derek Jacobi, the greatest actor in the world, my abnormally attractive obsession.
To be honest, I would gladly spend the rest of my life on drawing him, since it's such a great fun for me!
I must say that I'm very proud of this portrait. I think I finally did him justice.
The drawing is based on a screencap from the great movie "The Tenth Man", where Sir Derek starrs with Sir Anthony Hopkins and Kristin Scott Thomas. Definitely worth watching, though he's such a bad boy there...
Here, he is supposed to be looking from behind the wall, but drawing this blank wall would be absolutely pointless, so I focused on his face. ^^ In my opinion he looks dashing in a hat - for hats are so sexy! - better than Humphrey Bogart in "Casablanca", Sir Hopkins in "Hannibal", or any other Hollywood male superstar. He should definitely wear hats more often.
The media I used are of course pencils (HB, 5B, 7B and 8B), as well as charcoal.

I loved that movie... I recognized Sir Derek in this picture as being from that movie immediately... well done!
